Hit and run kills pony
POLICE are investigating a hit and run in which a New Forest pony was killed.
Debris found at the scene of the collision on the B3078 near Bramshaw Telegraph indicates that the vehicle involved was a grey BMW.
The bay filly was found at 7am last Saturday and may have been killed the night before.
The Verderers of the New Forest pay a £1,000 reward for information leading to the conviction of hit-and-run accidents involving animals.
