A previous peace walk gets underway in the city
SOUTHAMPTON’S annual peace walk, encouraging interaction between the city’s various faith communities, takes place on June 6.
All are welcome to the walk, organised by the Southampton Council of Faiths, which starts at the Peace Fountain in East Park at 12.30pm, and takes in a mosque, gurdwara, synagogue and church, with a short talk at each about the practice of religion.
