After winning 13 out of 14 tosses this season, my success with the coin must be some sort of record.
As a gambler, Shane Warne had all sorts of theories, believing the height of the toss and the way the coin was flicked all contributed to whether it landed heads or tails up.
I’m obviously doing something right. Maybe it is because I use a different coin every time.
The only one I have lost was before the Clydesdale Bank 40 defeat against Nottinghamshire at Trent Bridge.
It is just my superstitious nature, but the way our results have gone this season I have been tempted to ask the opposition captain what he would like to do and go with that!
