HUNDREDS of mourners are expected to turn out to say goodbye to 12-year-old Sam Cutler today.
As the Daily Echo reported yesterday, health chiefs have launched an inquiry after Sam, who was born with a hole in his heart, was told by the out of hours service to wait until the following day to see his GP. A suspected stomach bug turned out to be a heart infection.
A blue coffin carried by a horse and carriage will arrive at St Peter’s Church in Maybush at 10am accompanied by his favourite music.
Sam, a Redbridge Community School pupil, will be buried at Hollybrook Cemetery at 11am before family and friends gather to celebrate his life at St Peter’s church hall from 12pm.
