THE Royal Mail worker who brutally murdered his secret lover will face 15 years behind bars.
Roger Kearney stood in the dock at the Royal Courts of Justice in London today to hear how long his life sentence for killing Saints steward Paula Poolton would be.
Mr Justice Silber told the 57-year-old of Painswick Close, Sarisbury Green, this afternoon that he would spend a minimum of 15 years in jail.
As reported by the Daily Echo on Friday, a jury found the father-of-two guilty of stabbing Paula and dumping her body in the boot of her car, in October 2008.
Her car lay undetected for 11 days in Duncan Road, Park Gate, before it was found by beat officers.
Jurors at Winchester Crown Court took 12 hours to reach a unanimous verdict.
