Leopard roars in
Mike Slade’s Leopard was the first monohull to complete the loop in a time of 5.00.06hrs – leading home Pleomax and Team Volvo 2.
Slade, who set the monohull record for the Round the Island Race in 2008, was forced to dispense with an unwanted passenger before taking the line.
