PERSONNEL leaving the armed forces in Hampshire are being offered help to find new jobs.
Hampshire County Council has approved a grant of £10,000 to support a major jobs fair for staff leaving the Army, Royal Navy and Royal Air Force.
The aim is to help servicemen and women recognise how their skills could be transferred, identify new career opportunities and talk to prospective employers.
About 22,000 serving personnel are stationed across the county along with 6,000 civilians employed by the armed forces.
