AN artist from the Isle of Wight has been hired to redesign the marketing look of the Eastleigh contemporary theatre The Point.
Artists Joanne Hummel- Newell and digital designers Mighty Drive created a series of artworks and accompanying fonts to market its new café bar.
Quirky hand drawn images inspired by natural food sources and afternoon tea were used to stay in keeping with the centre’s artistic ethos.
Eastleigh-based digital artists Mighty Drive were charged with creating an original font.
The Point Programmer Harper Ray said: “Working with individual artists is at the core of everything we do at The Point. We wanted to make sure that our new café bar carried on that good work.”
