Tree fall blocks road
A FALLEN tree has blocked a major Southampton road.
The large oak tree has crashed down, blocking the junction of Bassett Avenue with Winchester Road.
Police are currently at the scene while council workers attempt to clear the debris, which is understood to be blocking both lanes of Winchester Road.
The incident happened at 2.15pm. It is not thought anyone has been hurt.
