A WOMAN who would not accept her former partner no longer wanted to see her bombarded her with text messages, letters and phone calls, a court heard.

Sharon Labrum defied a court order banning her from contacting Hannah Sharman.

Eventually, Labrum met up with her ex and refused to get out of her car.

The pair, who began a relationship six years ago, tied the knot in a civil ceremony in 2007.

But Ms Sharman ended their marriage last year and took out a non-molestation order that banned Labrum from contacting her.

Prosecutor Tim Dracass said Labrum still sent a stream of letters, texts and phone calls despite Ms Sharman saying she did not want to see her.

Labrum eventually waited outside a Southampton playschool where Ms Sharman was taking her daughter.

She had been drinking, offering her former lover cans of lager, before getting into the back of her car and refusing to get out.

Labrum, 35, of Dutton Lane, Eastleigh, admitted four counts of breaching the non-molestation order.

Giving her a six-month suspended sentence coupled with 12 months supervision, Judge Jayne Miller accepted she had been under emotional pressure and had been drinking.

Richard Martin, mitigating, said she had been unable to accept the relationship was over but had since come to terms with its breakdown.

“She has since started a new relationship and this chapter in her life has closed,” he added.
