A terrier dog was rescued after being trapped in a rabbit warren for two hours.
Daisy, a seven year old Pattendale, had been trapped below ground when her collar got caught on something in the earth. Dog walkers heard the animal barking and whimpering and tried in vain to free her, even using a shovel and garden fork.
In the end, fire service animal rescue expert Buster Brown – pictured right with Daisy– and was called to the scene at Chilbolton Common to free Daisy, who was returned to her owners who were out walking her.
