MORE than 1,000 students mobilised last night for a mammoth bar crawl through Southampton.
The boisterous mob was taking part in a tour of eight of the city’s night-spots.
Organised by controversial entertainment firmCarnage UK, the event included visits to the Buddha Lounge, Tokyo, Aura, 90 Degrees, Revolution, White House and the Square.
But the student night has drawn fire for encouraging binge drinking.
More recently it hit the headlines after a picture emerged purporting to be a drunk on a Carnage night urinating on the Cenotaph in Watts Park, Southampton.
The firm, which is a national company, also sparked outrage last year when a student was photographed relieving himself over poppies at a war memorial in Sheffield.
