POLICE investigating a robbery that left a Hampshire restaurant worker in hospital after being kicked in the head have released an e-fit picture of a man they want to talk to.
The robber got away with more than £1,000 in cash after launching an unprovoked attack on two members of staff as they walked home from Kuti's in Fair Oak with the night's takings.
As reported, one of the victims had to stay in hospital overnight to allow him to receive treatment from a specialist surgeon.
He had been knocked to the ground, punched and kicked during the attack, which happened on Dean Road, Fair Oak, at around 1.15am last Sunday.
Detectives have spoken to two men sitting outside the curry house on a bench and have eliminated them from their inquiries.
The suspect, who ran off towards Allington Lane after the attack, is described as about 18 years-old, of slim build and about 5ft 9ins tall.
He has blond hair, which was gelled and slightly ruffled, and was wearing a long-sleeved grey v-neck jumper, blue jeans and grey or white trainers.
Anyone with information should call Eastleigh CID on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
