Docks ladder fall leaves man with serious head injury
A MAN was evacuated by air ambulance to hospital after a fall in Southampton docks.
The 76-year-old fell off a ladder onboard a vessel in berth 104 at Gate 10 in the Western Docks, at about 10.20am this morning.
He was taken to Southampton General Hospital with serious head injuries.
The Health and Safety Executive are investigating.
