A 20-year-old was robbed by two men after being targeted from behind as he walked through Southampton Common.
The victim had his arms held behind his back by one assailant while the other took his laptop and cash from his jacket pockets.
The incident happened as he walked alone between the boating lake and the paddling pool towards The Avenue, at the junction with Northlands Road.
He was then pushed to the ground as both suspects ran off back into the Common.
The victim’s laptop bag containing a silver Apple Mac laptop and Nintendo DSI were taken along with £80 from his wallet in the incident on Monday between 10.30am and 11am.
The laptop bag is two tone brown with a black strap and a small white embroidered shark in the left hand corner of the front flap.
The first man was not properly seen but the second was described as white, in his late 20s, just over 6ft tall and of skinny build, clean-shaven with dark brown or black medium length hair described as unstyled and mop-like.
He was wearing very dark navy blue jeans and a dark blue or black plain long-sleeved t-shirt.
Witnesses should contact PC Kate Andrews at Portswood police station on 101.
