A WOMAN assaulted in a Hampshire village was the victim of mistaken identity police said.
The 52-year-old was walking through Brockenhurst when she was grabbed by a man looking for someone else. She suffered bruising to her right arm. Her assailant spoke with a southern Irish accent. He is described as white, about 5ft 10in, with short, greying strawberry blond hair.
