Pumpkin Day for shoppers
PUMPKINS will be the theme at this weekend’s Hampshire Farmers’ Market.
In line with Hallowe’en, the market held at Winchester ttoday will feature a ‘Guess the Weight’ of the pumpkin and Halloween giveaway muffins for every pumpkin entered into a “Best Dressed’’ carved pumpkin competition.
The market takes place in Middlebrook Street and Middlebrook Street car park from 9am to 2pm.
The “best dressed’’ carved pumpkin will be judged at the market on the day and the winner will bag a family ticket for Peter Pan at The Royal Theatre, in Winchester.
The winner of the “Guess the Weight” competition will take home a farmers’ market goody bag.
