FIREFIGHTERS today battled a blaze at a thatched home in a Hampshire village.
Crews fought flames at the two-storey house on the main road through Cheriton, near Winchester from 12.20pm until 1.41pm.
The 23 firefighters and two officers were from Eastleigh, Bishop's Waltham, Alresford and Winchester.
The fire started in the first floor bedroom.
It is thought the cause was accidental.
