A FAMILY has paid tribute to a builder killed in a collision on a Hampshire farm.
Gary Greaves, 48, a married father of one, died after his motorbike was in collision with a Land Rover on private land at Buriton near Petersfield.
A 62-year-old man, arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, was last night being questioned in custody. Mr Greaves’s family, from Arundel, West Sussex, said: “Gary’s tragic and untimely loss has deeply affected our family. He was a larger than life character who had a natural zest for life.
“Gary was a loving husband, father, son-in-law, brother-in-law and uncle who could always be relied upon and who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.”
The accident happened at 1.45pm on Saturday.
A post-mortem at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital will be conducted today.
