THE Isle of Wight has passed go in the launch of its very own Monopoly board.
The special edition of the popular game is being unveiled today at Osborne House, which has taken the top Mayfair spot on the board.
The positions of Isle of Wight sites were determined by votes from residents, with the game’s lowest ranking site, normally Old Kent Road, going to Military Road.
Pupils from Oakfield CE Aided Primary School came up with the idea for the game, and pitched it to games company Winning Moves UK.
The board features more than 30 Island landmarks.
