A TEENAGE model is lucky to be alive after she was chillingly told she would die during a savage beating on her way to a fashion shoot.
Sixteen-year-old Lucy Roberts fears her modelling hopes have been ruined after an attack in which her two front teeth were knocked out, her face swelled up to double its size and she needed stitches near her eye.
Detectives have launched a hunt for the attacker who fled when the blood-soaked teen managed to stumble across to two women she saw coming out of a nearby home.
The Southampton City College beauty student, known as Lacey to her friends, was in London for a Hallowe’en themed fashion shoot for promotion work.
Lucy, who lives in Townhill Park with her parents, told how she felt like she was in her own Hallowe’en horror film when she fell victim to a brutal attack in Lewisham at about 11pm on Friday.
