A DRUG addict grew cannabis at his home when subject to two suspended jail terms, Southampton Crown Court heard.
Police executing a search warrant discovered more than 80 cannabis plants in a cupboard and a specifically modified shed in the premises.
Alexander Harbott, 38, of Bournemouth Road, Chandler’s Ford, admitted being concerned in the production of cannabis and was jailed for 50 weeks.
The judge heard that one of the two suspended sentences was for a similar offence. Kate Fortescue, defending, said the jobless addict was growing them for himself but had reduced his usage.
