THOUSANDS of firework fans are getting set to descend on Southampton tonight for the most explosive charity event of the year.
The Daily Echo backed firework spectacular is back to light up the night sky over Mayflower Park with a jaw-dropping display.
Organisers Southampton Round Table No 4, who promise this year will be the best yet, have spent more than £10,000 to make sure visitors will be blown away by the evening’s explosions and are hoping to raise thousands for a host of Hampshire charities.
A family fun fair will be at Mayflower Park at from 2pm while the fireworks will be set off from a shipping barge from 7.15pm.
Tickets are available on the gates. It costs £4 for adults and £2 for children while under threes go free.
