TWO people were cut free from wrecked cars after a crash last night.
They were trapped in two vehicles after the incident on the A31 east of Winchester, about a mile and a half from the Percy Hobbs roundabout at about 7.40pm.
Both were taken to hospital by ambulance. The extent of their injuries was unclear.
Firefighters from Winchester and Alresford attended the scene for around 75 minutes.
Meanwhile, early today firefighters also freed a man after a collision between a car and a lorry on the A32 near Privett at about 3.15am.
Firefighters attended from Droxford, Alresford and Petersfield as well as the special equipment unit from Cosham.
