BUSES plan to park up and switch off their engines across Hampshire.
Drivers on routes operated by the Go-Ahead Group will be encouraged to join in the two-minute silence of remembrance on Thursday at 11am.
Alex Carter, managing director of Wilts & Dorset, Bluestar in Hampshire and Southern Vectis on the Isle Of Wight, said: “We believe that the thousands of passengers travelling with us at that time will understand and accept a two-minute delay to their journey.
“It is important to show respect to those who not only gave their lives for us in the First and Second World War but for the servicemen and women who have died in service in recent and current conflicts.”
