A Labour MP and union leader will headline a rally in Winchester against the Government’s spending cuts.
The meeting this Thursday will also see the launch of the Hampshire Labour Representation Committee.
The event starts at 7.30pm at the East Winchester Social Club on Chesil Street and will be addressed by John McDonnell MP for Hayes and Harlington and communication workers’ leader Maria Exall.
It aims to unite trade unionists, community groups and progressives to forge a movement against the cuts – and to help transform the Labour Party into a stronger campaigning organisation.
