THE family of Margaret Kibuuka today paid tribute to a wonderful mum who was "a best friend to everyone".

A statement produced by her mother Christine and sisters Maureen, Victoria and Annet, said: "What our family wanted is justice and today justice has been done. We thank the judge and we also thank the jury for their honesty in coming to this conclusion.

"May Margaret's soul rest in peace.

"We were, as you can imagine, terribly upset and sad to hear the tragic news of Margaret's death last year. It was a great shock.

"On behalf of the family we thank everyone who support us through the difficult times when we were mourning Margaret's death.

"She was a good mum, our sister and a best friend to everyone especially.

"We will never forget her. She will always be in our hearts.

"Everyone who knew her found her to be an exceptional person, full of kindness and warmth."
