TV masterclass for students at Southampton City College
WANNABE cameramen, sound technicians and TV presenters at Southampton City College got a masterclass in making live television from the professionals thanks to a visit from members of the crew behind This Morning.
Nick Thomas and Mark Sanderson, who work on the ITV weekday show presented by Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, visited the college’s newly-opened TV studio facilities to help 24 students develop their skills.
City College media students produce their own weekly radio and TV shows, and are currently working towards producing a live show at Christmas.
