Firefighters tackle tower block blaze
FIVE fire engines, including a special equipment unit, rushed to a high rise block in Southampton early today.
The crews were called to the fifth floor of Hightown Towers, Weston, shortly after 4am to deal with a small electrical fire in a cupboard.
The occupant, a 51-year-old disabled man, was already out of his home and was not hurt.
No residents had to be evacuated.
