THREE men have denied killing a man in a Southampton bedsit, Winchester Crown Court heard yesterday.
Wieslaw Filus was found dead in his bedsit in July 2009.
Three Southampton men have denied the manslaughter of Mr Filus between July 16 and 19.
They are: Marcin Zonca, 28, of Denzil Avenue, Bevois Valley; Boguslaw Chmiel, 30, of Denzil Avenue; and Krzysztof Szalus, 27, of Bevois Valley Road.
They also deny conspiring to pervert the course of justice between July 16, 2009 and May 19, 2010.
A fourth man, Waldemar Misiak, 49, of Denzil Avenue, also denies perverting the course of justice.
The hearing before the judge, Mr Justice Royce, was adjourned and the four men remanded in custody.
