A planned 48-hour strike by journalists at the Southern Daily Echo has been called off.
Members of the National Union of Journalists had proposed to start a two-day strike today.
But the union said the industrial action was postponed yesterday to allow for further talks with management.
Editor Ian Murray said he was delighted the action had been called off.
