THE body of a man has been discovered in Southampton.
Police have cordoned off part of Dunkirk Road, near the Sports Centre, after a member of the public made the grisly find at around 10.50am.
It is thought the body was found in a ditch running alongside the road, near to the public car park.
The bottom section of the road has been closed off to its junction with Lordswood Road.
Officers are currently on the scene investigating.
It is not yet known if the death is being treated as suspicious.
