A WOMAN was taken to hospital with back injuries after the car she was riding in crashed at Hursley.
The VW Golf left the A3090 north of the village near Standon Corner and struck a boundary wall.
The male driver was out of the wreckage by the time rescue crews arrived, but the female passenger was trapped.
Winchester firefighters released her using cutting gear, and ambulance crews took her away on a spinal board.
She was taken to the Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester for treatment, as was the driver for checks.
The crash happened just after 8pm yesterday.
