Police are investigating criminal damage at Northwood House in Cowes on the Isle of Wight.
Black graffiti was sprayed by vandals close to the old registrar's entrance on the war memorial side of the house sometime between Tuesday and yesterday.
Green graffiti was also sprayed on the old toilet blocks within the grounds of Northwood House.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Cowes Police Station by phoning 101. Information can be given anonymously by calling the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
