A WOMAN walking home alone in Southampton was left injured after her handbag was snatched.
The thief approached the 59-year-old from behind while she walked along Stanton Road, in Millbrook, and grabbed her bag.
But the thief used such force its straps broke and she fell over, cutting her left arm and knee.
This happened on Thursday, November 11, at 5.45pm Inside the bag was a purse, door keys, more than £40 in cash, glasses and a green glasses case.
The suspect is about 5ft 4ins tall, slim build and wearing a dark, possibly grey, hooded top.
