A Southampton teenager has been presented with the top honour in the Scouting movement.
Flic Wright, received the Queen’s Scout Award in a ceremony at King Edward VI School in front of friends, family, Scout leaders and her former teachers.
The presentation marked the end of an 18-month commit-ment for Flic, 19, who had to meet numerous requirements to obtain the certificate.
Among her asignments were an 18-day expedition in Poland, a year’s service to the community and six months of regular physical recreation. Flic is now a leader at Eling Sea Scouts in Totton.
