A HAMPSHIRE charity is holding its second Father Christmas-themed fun run fundraiser after the success of the same event last year. The Santa run is organised by Naomi House children’s hospice, who are inviting runners to dress up and complete a 5km course.
Last year the event raised more than £18,000 for the hospice and this year staff hope to raise at least £20,000. Entry costs £15 for adults and £10 for under-14s and the minimum age for entry is eight. All Father Christmas’ are encouraged to raise money through sponsorship. The run takes place on Sunday, December 5, starting at Winchester Rugby Club at North Walls Park, Winchester.
