CHILDREN as young as just ten years old are suffering from anorexia in Hampshire, a Daily Echo investigation can reveal today.
An increasing number of girls are now suffering from the illness while they are still attending primary school, say experts.
They blame mounting pressure being put on young girls to care about their appearance and are calling for more cash from health chiefs to help combat the problem.
The shocking age of some sufferers comes as figures show the number of girls battling eating disorders in Hampshire has shot up over the past 12 months.
