PUPILS at a Hampshire school will be helping Santa to bring a smile to the faces of poorly youngsters this Christmas.

Tiptoe Primary School, in Lymington is preparing to host a Christmas spectacular in the hope of spreading some festive cheer to the children’s wards at Southampton General Hospital.

Father Christmas will arrive on his horse and carriage to open the festive fete, which takes place on December 4, from 10am to 3pm. He will spend the day in his grotto where children are encouraged to ditch tradition and donate a present to Santa for him to deliver to the hospital on Christmas day.
