A MAN suffered bruising and minor stab wounds as he was attacked by a woman while he walked his dog.
The 32-year-old was taken to hospital where he was treated for two minor stab wounds to his thighs and bruising to his back.
He had been walking outside Somborne House, Weston Lane, shortly after 3am yesterday when he was assaulted.
Police believe a woman driving a dark car was responsible but officers are trying to establish exactly what happened and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Detectives are now asking for anyone who may have seen any or all of the incident or the victim in the area before it happened to get in contact with them at Bitterne CID on 101.
