MORE than 300 students were due to march on a Hampshire town today in the continuing protest will against rising university tuition fees.
Students will be petitioning people in the streets of Eastleigh before lobbying outside the office of local MP and Cabinet minister Chris Huhne, Energy and Climate Change Secretary.
It is the start of a new campaign called the Right to Recall and the students are fighting for the law to be changed to enable voters to get rid of a politician who goes back on election pledges.
The group said that if Mr Huhne voted in favour of increasing student tuition fees he will have broken his election promises and should be removed.
