A leading Southampton dentist has been inaugurated as a Fellow of the International College of Dentists.
It is a prestigious award for Clive Marks since there are only 85 fellows in the whole of the United Kingdom . While there are dental specialist Fellows within Hampshire, Mr Marks is the only general dental practitioner in the area to have been honoured as Fellow.
He told the Daily Echo " The Inauguration meant far more to me than my graduation from University as it was bestowed on me by my peers within the profession. I found the event extremely moving "
Mr Marks, who has been in private dental practice for 21 years, revealed his father had also been a Fellow . His expertise also includes 20 years as the radio dentist on Radio Solent, work with the Jubilee Sailing Trust and lesturing at the European Medical and Dental Symposium.
