BURGLARS have raided a house in a village near Winchester, stealing jewellery worth more than £2,000.
The raiders got in by smashing a window at the rear of the house in Downs Road, South Wonston between 11am-7.30pm on Friday.
A 22in Queen Victoria sovereign chain worth £450 and a gold/diamond cluster ring with seven diamonds worth £1,500 were taken.
