SHOPPERS queued for up to eight hours to ensure a meeting with style guru Gok Wan when he visited Southampton.
The star of Channel Four’s How To Look Good Naked was in the city’s WestQuay shopping centre to sign copies of his newly released autobiography, hosted by Waterstone’s.
About 300 fans lined up outside the book store on the ground floor of the centre to await Gok’s arrival.
His book Through Thick and Thin details his battle with anorexia.
Waterstone’s manager Steve Boswell said that fans had been queuing all day and screamed when Gok appeared.
He said: “It was fantastic, he was a very, very popular person.”
