Police in hunt for attacker
A HAMPSHIRE man was punched in the back of the head by a would-be thief.
The 31-year-old was walking along Park Lane in Fareham on Tuesday when a hooded man pounced on him and tried to grab his rucksack.
The victim was smacked in the back of the head before the attacker fled empty- handed, between 8.30pm and 9pm. He was wearing a jacket with the hood up, dark bottoms and dark coloured shoes.
