A ROAD is closed after a crash that left an elderly woman trapped in her car.
Longlands Shute, in Bembridge on the Isle of Wight has been closed close to its junction with Sandown Road following the serious collision police were called to at 3.22pm.
Police officers are now on scene with fire crews and ambulance.
Motorists are urged to avoid the area.
