FIFTY people attended the Winchester Action on Climate Change (WinACC) meeting to discuss ways to make Winchester a cycling city.
While cycling is increasing, most people do it for recreation rather than commuting, say WinACC.
The meeting hosted a debate about how to encourage more people to get on their bikes.
Suggestions included a coalition between cyclists and pedestrians and a link between WinACC and cycling group CTC to make a stronger to influence Hampshire County Council.
