WELSH rockers Manic Street Preachers have joined the line-up the bill for next summer’s Isle of Wight Festival.

They were among a host of top acts added to the bill this morning.

Critically acclaimed Public Image Ltd featuring I’m A Celebrity star John Lydon, Britpop guitar band Cast, the dynamic Hadouken!, British rock legend Nick Lowe and hotly tipped Brother will raise the roof of the Big Top alongside Manic Street Preachers on Sunday June 12.

The first major festival of the summer will already see headline performances from three of the biggest bands in the world; Kings of Leon, Foo Fighters and Kasabian. Newly reformed Pulp will make their first UK festival appearance ahead of Foo Fighters on Saturday.

The Script, Plan B, Pixie Lott, James Walsh, Two Door Cinema Club and a guest performance from Jeff Beck are already lined up for the main stage on Sunday.

The tenth anniversary Isle of Wight Festival takes place at Seaclose Park, near Newport, from June 10-12.
