A FORMER teacher accused of kidnapping a child has left the Hampshire covers band he played guitar in.
It is also understood Nicholas Haines, 30, of Lovage Road, Whiteley, is no longer working at The Romsey School, where he was an IT teacher since September 2007.
He has admitted a charge of having unlawful sexual activity with a teenage girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, but denies a separate charge of abduction.
Haines used to play guitar in Romsey-based four-piece band Moonshot Drive-by, but left last October.
He is currently on bail until a further court hearing next month.
