A MAN at the centre of a murder investigation in Winchester lost his younger brother two years ago.
Stuart Horsman, 34, was taken ill at Winchester Railway Station last Wednesday and died of internal injuries at Royal Hampshire County Hospital later the same day.
His brother Philip was found dead in the city at the Brooks Shopping Centre in Middle Brook Street in April 2009 after taking a heroin and alcohol overdose.
The pair lived with their mother in Queens Mead, Stanmore. She has gone to visit her family during this difficult time according to neighbours.
Police believe Stuart Horsman was assaulted in the week prior to his death and are conducting a murder investigation.
Two men from Winchester, a 58-year-old and a 32-year-old, were arrested in connection with the murder on Saturday and released on bail until November, with police appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Major Crime Team at Hulse Road, Southampton, quoting Operation Tabby, by phoning 101 or emailing operation.tabby@hampshire.pnn.police.uk.
